Letra

The First Stone

Dallas Holm

She was led there for condemnation They knew her fate was now insured As He heard every accusation Her shame and her guilt endured They knew death was the right solution But the Lord had another plan Take away their righteous illusion Teach compassion to every man You are her accusers You try to abuse her You don't know the Holy One Who of you is worthy Who will see His glory Who will throw the first stone Throw the first stone There are none of us here so righteous That our lives are not marred by sin Our vain strivings become so pious We lose touch with the grace within Jesus cries for our heartless anger He once bled just to pay the price We forget how we once refused love How we saw life with blinded eyes We are the accusers We are the abusers We think we're the Holy One Who of us is worthy Who will see the glory Who will throw the first stone We are the accusers We are the abusers We think we're the Holy One Who of us is worthy Who will see the glory Who will throw the first stone We are the accusers We are the abusers We think we're the Holy One Who of us is worthy Who will see the glory Who will throw the first stone Throw the first stone
