Letra
Stir It Up
The Imperials
In this world so lost and lonely
In these days so full of lies
It's easy to get caught up
In these crazy trying times
You start to lose the passion
You start to lose the desire
The flames begin to smolder
With no wind in the fire
The joy of your salvation
Slowly fades away
Somehow disappearing
As you go through your day
You've got to stir it up
Stir the gifts of God within you
Let Him have His way in your life
You gotta stir it up
Let His power come and shake you
You gotta keep His Spirit alive
You got to stir it up, stir it up
Too many hearts are true and tender
Too many souls so full of God
Have traded thеir convictions
For earthly compromise
Forgetting His powеr
Forgetting His word
Forgetting all the things
That they once heard
You've got to stir it up
(Stir it up, stir it up)
Stir the gifts of God within you
Let Him have His way in your life
You gotta stir it up
(Stir it up, stir it up)
Let His power come and shake you
You gotta keep His Spirit alive
We need revival
Of the things that we once knew of
We need to return back to our first love
We need to wake up
To wake up from our sleeping
And get down, get down on our knees
We need revival
Of the things that we once knew of
We need to return back to our first love
We need to wake up
To wake up from our sleeping
And get down, get down on our knees
The joy of your salvation
Slowly fades away
Somehow disappearing
As you go through your day
You've got to stir it up
(Stir it up, stir it up)
Stir the gifts of God within you
Let Him have His way in your life
You gotta stir it up
(Stir it up, stir it up)
Let His power come and shake you
You gotta keep His Spirit alive
You've got to stir it up
(Stir it up, stir it up)
Stir the gifts of God within you
Let Him have His way in your life
You gotta stir it up
(Stir it up, stir it up)
Let His power come and shake you
You gotta keep His Spirit alive...
